What do I do if my LinX sensor is showing an error?

If your LinX sensor is showing any errors there are some troubleshooting steps we can take to resolve this. Some examples of errors are "sensor is malfunctioning" and "sensor needs to be replaced".

1. Restart your phone

This often fixes most of the issues with the sensor and the Limbo app.

2. Check for updates for the Limbo app here.

If there is an update, download it, and restart the app.

3. Check your Bluetooth connection

  • Go to Settings and click on Bluetooth and make sure it's enabled and active
  • Go to Settings > click on Privacy & Security > Bluetooth > Make sure that Limbo is enabled (green)

4. Unpair and re-pair your LinX sensor

  • Go to the settings for the LinX sensor in the Limbo app and tap on UNPAIR
  • Take note of your LinX sensor serial number (starts with "AN"), then close the Limbo app. You can also find the serial number on the LinX sensor box.
  • Open your Bluetooth settings
  • Locate the device with the same serial number
  • Tap the "i" icon next to it, then choose FORGET THIS DEVICE
  • Restart your phone
  • Enable Bluetooth and check to see if you can find the same device among available/active devices
  • Once you find it, open the Limbo app, find the LinX sensor, enter the serial number (if prompted) and pair the sensor again
  • Your sensor should now start stabilizing.
