I can't pair my sensor with Viv, what do I do?

The LinX, Aidex X, and Vixxa sensors essentially function the same way. Here's what to do if you can't connect.

1. Make sure you have the latest Viv app

  • Delete your Viv app from your phone
  • Download and install the latest version of the Viv App

2. Delete the sensor from your Bluetooth paired devices

  • Open your Bluetooth settings
  • Locate the sensor device with LinX / Vixxa / Aidex X in it (it will have a name that matches a serial number on the sensor box)
  • Tap the "i" icon next to it, then choose FORGET THIS DEVICE

3. Check your Bluetooth connection

  • Go to Settings and click on Bluetooth and make sure it's enabled and active
  • Then go to Settings > click on Privacy & Security > Bluetooth > Make sure that Viv is enabled (green)
  • Restart your phone

4. Pair the sensor with the Viv App

  • Makes sure Bluetooth is active on your phone
  • Open Viv and go through the set up for the LinX / Aidex X / Vixxa sensor
  • Try pairing the sensor again.
