What's the best way to prepare the skin for a sensor?

Remove the dirt. Kill the germs. Get rid of the hairs.

🫧Start by cleansing your skin using an oil-free, ideally antimicrobial soap or cleanser.

💨 Dry it thoroughly.

🧹 If you have oily skin, consider incorporating a gentle exfoliation routine.

🪒 If necessary, trim hair with a dry razor and shave. You want the adhesive to stick to your skin, not your hairs.

💦 You could use alcohol wipes instead.

🧴 Avoid using lotions or moisturizers containing oil in the area where you plan to insert the sensor.

🛁 Additionally, refrain from inserting the sensor immediately after a shower, bath, or in a steamy bathroom.

🌵 It's best to apply the sensor in a dry environment because humidity will affect the adhesive

👇After placing the sensor, run your finger around the white adhesive patch at least three times to ensure there are no air bubbles, and the adhesive is securely attached to your skin.
