Because modern diets give us a constant supply of energy with snacks and processed carbohydrates, our bodies have become overloaded and can no longer cope with carbohydrates efficiently.
By giving your system a break it is able to reset, and eventually you can reintroduce carbohydrates, with a focus on fibrous vegetables in particular. We advise the avoidance of processed foods as much as possible for the long term, both for health and weight management.
