Illness - What should I do if I am ill? Do I still need to stick to the programme?

Take time to look after yourself.

If you are fighting an infection (e.g. a cold), your immune system sends white blood cells to where they are needed. Limbo emphasises a high-nutrient and protein dense diet, which supplies the building blocks for white blood cells and, therefore, helps with the immune response.

To direct your resources to getting better you should also avoid any high-intensity exercise, and take time to look after yourself.

You decide what to do with your programme depending on advice from your doctor (if necessary), what's wrong with you and how you feel. Remember that your mental and physical health are deeply connected - be kind to yourself.
